BLACK BOY INN - Disability Access Statement

• The Black Boy Inn Caernarfon welcomes all customers and strives to make the site accessible to everyone.
• The inn is situated in centre of town
• Car Parking - free on site to customers – tarmacadam & paving surface level to main hotel entrance there is large step at front door.
• Caernarfon is situated as a main bus stopping point. / prices on 08706 082608.
• Trains - nearest main line station is Bangor
• The Black Boy Inn is a very old Inn but is not easily accessible to wheelchairs due to layout of building. It has uneven floors and narrow passages. In fact nothing is of standard width.
• Reception - has not yet been modified for wheelchair users and smaller people - no loop installed - assistance is available when required.
• Bedrooms situated in the Inn are not easily accessible as they will be spread over two floor levels with steps, and due to layout of this old inn, not standard widths in corridors.
• No lift in hotel due to restrictions of building.
